Sight Concern are looking to recruit a Trustee with an interest in figures to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer.
As well as fulfilling the duties of a Trustee, the Treasurer maintains an overview of Sight Concern Worcestershire’s financial affairs. The Treasurer leads the board in ensuring that effective and appropriate financial measures, controls and procedures are put in place and reports to the Board at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation.
The whole Board meets once a quarter and there is also a quarterly Finance and Risk Committee meeting. The Treasurer will also need to be available to oversee the year-end accounts and audit which will be completed by our Finance Manager and external auditor
