How to vote in the upcoming Elections if you are Visually Impaired

With the local elections taking place on the 5th of May the Thomas Pocklington Trust have put together a very useful guide to voting if you are visually Impaired. It includes the following:

  • What you need to know to vote
  • How to Vote – in person, postal or by proxy
  • Where to vote – includes a link to your local electoral registration office
  • What tools you need to vote

There is also an audio interview with Peter Stanyon, CEO of the Association of Electoral Administrators, who talks about the accessibility of voting for blind and partially sighted people. The full guide is on their website.
