National Eye Health Week 21st to 27th of September

This year’s National Eye Health Week (NEHW) will take place from 21 to 27 September 2020, promoting the importance of good eye health and the need for regular eye tests for all.

Vision really matters. Sight is the sense people fear losing the most, yet many of us don’t know how to look after our eyes – National Eye Health Week aims to change all that!

Here at Sight Concern Worcestershire, we want to get everyone thinking about their eye health and getting regular sight tests.

There are lots of things you can do to improve your eye health, from fitness and healthy eating to quitting smoking and reducing drinking there are loads of things you can do to reduce the chances of developing sight problems in later life.

Over the course of the week, we will post links to useful resources on social media to both help raise awareness and also give ideas of things people can do to help protect their sight.

Watch the video below and please feel free to share it with friends and family on social media!
