Sight Advice South Lakes Cumbria, Support 4 Sight Essex and Sight Concern Worcestershire present an inspiring talk by Dee Jones, owner of “Sense Adventures” first broadcast on Thursday March 11th 10.00 am
After becoming Severely Sight Impaired and adjusting to the challenges that come with it, Dee Jones decided to start a business that would help others living with Visual Impairment engage in life in a more active and rewarding way by setting up Sense Adventures.
This organization provides experiences for people with Visual Impairments that will not only get them out and about, meeting others and having fun, but also give them experiences that they will not forget and that will help them to build their confidence.
Dee’s talk covers how she adjusted to the huge changes losing her sight brought to her life, how that inspired her to create this successful business and how the business has adapted to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dee is joined by a few of the people that deliver her online experiences to give people a flavour of the new things that people can achieve, including Creative Writing, Cooking and yoga.
